This is the beautiful new facility of Miracle Life Church in Lusaka, Zambia. It is a great facility, and an amazing accomplishment in Zambia. |

Our hosts on this trip were Walker and Haley Schurz. This outstanding couple has lived in Africa since 1994, and have a proven track record of fruitful and productive ministry. You can learn more about their ministry at www.africaoutreach.org. |

This is the front-line worship team during the Sunday morning service of Miracle Life Church. |

Tony had the privilege of speaking in the two Sunday morning services at MLFC. |

It is not unusual to see children in Lusaka walking to church on Sunday morning, or going in the back of pickup trucks. |

In addition to preaching in the church, Tony also taught several sessions to the hundreds of pastors and Bible School students (Rhema Zambia) who attended the ministers’ conference. |

While in Zambia, we enjoyed some great fellowship with some great missionaries. Front Row: Matt Catinella, Nancy Jasperson, Cindy and Steve Shoop. Back Row: Tony and Lisa Cooke, Dawn Close, Haley and Walker Schurz. |

Pastor Mosa Sono (far left) from Soweto, South Africa also spoke at the ministers’ conference. He was accompanied by his friend and fellow-pastor, Khitshane Lengana, also from South Africa. |

After the conference, Walker and Haley took us to Livingstone, Zambia, where we saw Victoria Falls. These falls are twice as high and twice as wide as Niagara Falls. |

As we crossed the river into Botswana, we saw this man rowing his dugout canoe. |

We had the privilege of going on a “game tour” in Chobe National Park in Botswana and saw some of the amazing wildlife of Africa. |

This beautiful Sable came to the river for a drink during the boat portion of our tour. I didn’t realize that many of the animals actually kneel in order to drink. They are very cautious as they approach the river because of crocodiles in the river. |

I never realized how huge Hippos really are... they are massive! I also heard that they kill more humans than any other animal in Africa. |

I got a close-up picture of this guy at lunch (I think he’s a Vermit Monkey). He and his buddies were very eager for people to get up and leave their tables and they would immediately jump on the table and get any leftovers. A few times they jumped on tables while people were still eating. |

This beautiful animal is called a Kudu. |

This picture of a Violet-breasted Roller was not taken in the game park in Botswana, but in Walker and Haley’s yard. Haley was the photographer. |
